Porcelain Factory Groundbreaking and 5 year Safety Event

On July 20, 2006; a historic groundbreaking for a new Porcelain Factory was held at the Florida Tile Lawrenceburg Site.  Using the American footprint provided by Florida Tile and the world-wide knowledge in porcelain manufacturing provided by our parent Panariagroup, SPA;  we broke ground on a $20M state-of-the-art porcelain factory.

The new Factory will add an additional 67 new jobs to the Lawrenceburg Site.

The first phase of the expansion is expected to be completed in May, 2007.

Buck Burwell, President & CEO, Florida Tile, welcomed our guests to the Groundbreaking and reviewed the events that enabled this event to take place.  Present were Giuliano Pini, CEO, Panariagroup, various local government dignitaries.
