LEXINGTON KY -- Florida Tile continues to build on its PietraArt line of natural stone with the introduction of Polished Travertine for floors and walls in six of today’s best selling colors.
The Polished expands on the initial launch of Travertine in the late spring and the introduction of the rustic collection in mid-summer.
“As with prior introductions, only A-rated stone is used for our Polished Travertine,” said Sean Cilona, Florida Tile Marketing Director. “To achieve the final, perfected piece, all sizes are cut from larger stones. This ensures exact and consistent dimensions which are critical for the installation whether it is grouted or not, depending on the desired contemporary or classic rustic look.”
The new Polished Travertine is available in contemporary, popular earthen-hued colors: Light Travertine, Noce (for walls), Picasso, Silver (silver-and-white-veined) and Scabos (white, gold, brown and light travertine accents), plus Walnut (for floors).
The new Polished Travertine line includes matching “brick” pattern mosaics in the same hues. “The mosaics are made of 2x4 chips, beveled for a crisp and sharp appearance,” Cilona added.
For endless degrees of design flexibility, Florida Tile’s ever-expanding Travertine line coordinates with the PietraArt Medallions and Mosaic series.
The Polished Travertine stone collection is offered in three sizes: 3x6, 12x12 and 18x18.
